Introduction:

The semi-recombined magnesite-chrome brick is fired from a portion of fused magnesite chrome as raw material. The main mineral composition of the semi-recombined magnesite chrome bricks are periclase, spinel and a small amount of silicate. The periclase and spinel are fully developed, the crystals are directly combined with periclase-periclite or periclase-spinel, the silicate phase exists in an isolated state between the grains. The thermal shock resistance of the semi-recombined magnesite chrome brick is better than that of the directly combined magnesite chrome brick.

Advantages:

Compact, low porosity, excellent high temperature strength, better thermal shock resistance. The semi-recombined magnesite-chrome bricks have lower cost and better thermal shock resistance than the recombined magnesite-chrome bricks, and can replace the recombined magnesite-chrome bricks in a certain range.

Application:

Vulnerable parts of steel making electric furnace, RH, DH vacuum degassing device, secondary refining slag line of VOD, LF, ASEA-SKF, AOD, copper smelting converter tuyere area, cement rotary kiln firing zone and glass furnace regenerator.
