Introduction:
The magnesite-chromium mixed powder is melted by electrofusion to form a material having a relatively uniform microstructure and a composition of magnesium chrome spinel and periclase as main components. Then the fused magnesite chrome is pulverized into a certain particle size, mixed molding, and then fired into a finished product. The combination of bricks essentially changes the physicochemical properties of the periclase, such as lowering the coefficient of thermal expansion, improving the thermal shock resistance, and improving the resistance to slag erosion. The pores are evenly distributed and have tiny cracks, which are more sensitive to rapid temperature changes than casting. The high temperature performance of the product is between the cast brick and the direct joint brick.
